Meet Roger P Suter II, DDS
Dr. Roger Suter has been creating beautiful, healthy smiles for the families of North Central West Virginia for more than 20 years — and his path to dentistry started right here at home.
Growing up in Fairmont, Roger was the son of a coal miner and a nurse at Fairmont General Hospital. When he was eight years old, a coal mine strike sent his parents looking for affordable dental care, and they took him to the WVU School of Dentistry in Morgantown. Watching the young dental students laugh, learn, and genuinely care for the people in their chairs, he made up his mind on the spot: that was what he wanted to do with his life.
He never looked back.
Today, Dr. Suter blends science with artistry to design natural-looking smiles his patients are proud to share. He has a special passion for cosmetic and restorative dentistry — porcelain veneers, full smile makeovers, dental implants, and CEREC same-day crowns — and he is one of only a handful of dentists in Harrison County licensed in conscious oral sedation, allowing nervous and anxious patients to receive the care they need in complete comfort. His advanced studies at the world-renowned Kois Center have given him a deep mastery of dental occlusion, the foundation of every successful smile makeover and long-lasting restoration. Dr. Suter and his wife Melissa are proud parents of three children — Lindsey, Macy, and Riley. When he isn't in the office, you'll find him in the gym (he's a devoted exercise enthusiast), cheering on the Mountaineers at football and basketball games, or giving back to the Clarksburg community he is proud to call home. He is the past president of the Harrison County Dental Society and has served on the board of the United Way.
